Overview:
This training is performed in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Industry Scaffold Standard, 29 CFR 1926 subpart L. This course covers the safe procedures and work practices associated with erecting, dismantling, and usage of free standing supported scaffolding (frame, tube and clamp, and system). This course incorporates only classroom training and does not include hands-on practice.

This training is performed in accordance with the Scaffold Training Institute (STI) Competent Person Scaffolding training curriculum and covers all aspects of supported scaffolding. This course meets the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health (OSHA) Scaffolding Regulations, 29 CFR 1926.454, for a Competent Person in work involving scaffolds. This course involves hands-on practice with various types of supported scaffolding.
Duration:
This training lasts 24 hours.

| Suspended Scaffolding Competent Person

Student must first complete 3-day Scaffold Competent Person Course

This training will be performed in accordance with the Scaffold Training Institute (STI) Competent Person Scaffolding training course and will cover all aspects of suspended scaffolding. The training meets the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Scaffolding Regulations, 29 CFR 1926.454, for a Competent Person in work involving scaffolds. The course will involve hands-on practice with suspended scaffolding.
