FOH can perform a systematic re-assessment of job categories subject to risk factors associated with cumulative trauma and other workplace injuries. Performing surveillance helps to reduce and prevent injuries through implementation of strategies based on the analysis of both individual and aggregate surveillance data. FOH surveillance measures may include:

• Computer-based tracking
• Follow-up interviews
• Other evaluation techniques as appropriate
